Meme Roth Obesity Update: America’s Most Pleasureable Form of Child Abuse is An Overweight Child
Let’s check in with our expert on obesity, Meme Roth, Founder and President of National Action Against Obesity.
As a bit of background for our viewers, Meme is a lovely lady, very natural looking and scholarly with a smooth blemish free brow. Meme has been simply telling overweight people via alphabet soup TV and her website, “Hello! You are overweight and you need to start eating healthier and exercise.”
That was enough to reel in a firestorm of protests and death threats. They said, “It’s none of your business!”, or “They’re just big boned!” Others screamed out the ubiquitous, “That’s who they are!”
Meme has an ingenious stock of answers at the ready. She tells them, “Don’t expect me to pay for your obesity health care costs to the tune of $100 billion annually.”
Frankly, we think that figure is pretty low, and after you factor in other costs of obesity: within the workplace, the obese’s quality of life, and those with the power of sight the burden is unimaginably massive, and revolting.
Meme tells them, “I come from a history of obesity, and look at me.” Yes, Meme, look at you. Slender fingers instead of sausage fingers. And that brow, so smooth.
When reasonable conversation fails with the pro-obesity crowd Meme pulls out the death knell to their justifications and excuses: “Making your child obese is child abuse.” The room falls silent on that one because…it is child abuse.
Then they called her “Hitler” and “Stalin”, accusations which reflected more poorly on the accusers and their lack of intellect and ability to compare.
Readers, this reminds me of the time I spent in Scandinavia and was astonished at the healthy appearance of the people there. People who might otherwise be sickly cows were healthy and pleasant looking. Their secret, apparently, was that they didn’t stuff their fat faces with food and frequently walked on lengths of concrete installed along the road.
